- Thanks to everyone who came out to the ‘Out of Control ‘09’ show in
Milton on May 23rd. The Milton fans were witness to some incredible
matches as well as numerous twists and turns that shook up the
Ultimate Wrestling roster. Keep checking in with News and Rumors while
UW takes the summer off!

- The biggest news to come out of Milton, FL on May 23rd was Aeon Flexx
scoring a pinfall victory over Bobby Doll. This match had HUGE
ramifications for Doll, Flexx, The Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team
Championship, and Robert Gibson. At the beginning of his match, Bobby
Doll announced that Robert Gibson could not make the show, being stuck
in the Atlanta airport. Ultimate Wrestling’s General Manager, Diana
Drake-Hearse came to the ring and said that she’s tired of the Ultimate
Legends running roughshod over Ultimate Wrestling and their fans. She
turned what was supposed to be a match for the Ultimate Wrestling Tag
Team Championship, into a singles match with a double major
stipulation. This would now be a contract for contract match. If Bobby
Doll won, Aeon Flexx would have his contract ripped up in the middle of
the ring on July 18th in Pensacola. Bobby Doll said he’d get rid of Flexx,
just like he got rid of his partner, Rikki Rocket. However, if Bobby Doll
lost the match, Flexx would be granted a way to even the playing ground
and take out Bobby’s partner; Robert Gibson’s contract would be ripped
up in the middle of the ring in Pensacola on July 18th. After a very hard
fought “relaxed rules” match, Aeon Flexx pinned Bobby Doll after a
second rope power bomb. Doll has claimed that if Gibson’s contract gets
ripped up, he’ll “do something he never thought he’d ever do” on July 18th.

- Milton was almost witness to a nuclear bomb going off in the middle of
the ring when “Brutal” Joe Gibson and Deathrow faced off. The intensity
was at code red levels after Deathrow laid waste to Brian Caige, The
Amish Assassin, The Black Wolf, numerous students and UW officials.
Deathrow claimed that nobody can stop him and nobody has the guts to
do anything about it. Answering his call was former heavyweight
champion, “Brutal” Joe Gibson. Joe has accomplished much in his short
career, but friends and peers have warned Joe that maybe he has bitten
off more than he can chew by standing up to Deathrow. Joe has stated
that he’s never backed down from a fight and it’s time to show Ultimate
Wrestling and all the fans on the gulf coast that “The Legacy of
Brutality” has just begun. Ultimate Wrestling will release some footage
in the coming weeks that was filmed after the Joe was pushed to the
locker room on May 23rd. You will NOT want to miss what Joe has to say
about Deathrow. News and Rumors has gotten the official statement
from management that “Brutal” Joe Gibson and Deathrow will face of in
a one on one match in Pensacola on July 18th.

- Carlos D’Angelo has had an amazing 2009 thus far. Carlos has
constantly been putting on “Match of the Night” quality matches against
everyone he steps in the ring with. Carlos had a successful defense
against Michael Patrick on May 23rd when he beat him with his running
knee strike and STO combo. Carlos D’Angelo has issued and open
challenge to anybody who wants to try for the X-Factor belt in Pensacola
on July 18th. “Ultimate Wrestle’s First Son” TA Jones has put his name on
the line. As of right now, UW has approved a non title match for July 18th
in Pensacola. It will be “Mr. USA” TA Jones against “The Feature” Carlos D’
Angelo, but Carlos very well may request the match to be a title match,
and put the X-factor belt on the line. News and Rumors will keep you
posted.

- Although Nick Virtue did not have a match in Milton, he still made an
impact. Cameron Frost, a former heavyweight champion in almost every
promotion he’s worked for, had a number one contenders match against
“The Chocolate Boy Wonder” Marcus Gibbs. Gibbs has a great streak at
the beginning of 09, holding the UW Cruiserweight title for 4 months.
Both of these men have been loyal to Ultimate Wrestling and have been
bringing quality matches to shows in Pensacola and Milton, and thus
were rewarded with a #1 Contender match. Frost came out victorious
and now has a match with Nick Virtue on July 18th for the Ultimate
Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Frost has a lot of momentum
going into this match while Nick Virtue is coming off of a major knee
injury. Will Virtue be 100% in Pensacola? Will Cameron Frost prove why
he is called “The Master of Devastation”? Find out when Ultimate
Wrestling returns to the American Legion Post 33, July 18th, with ‘Torn to
Shreds’!
