| News and Rumors 3-24-09 by Ultimate Promo Zone - “The Chocolate Boy Wonder” Marcus Gibbs is taking the Gulf Coast Independent scene by storm! The current Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion is on a roll and it doesn’t look like his tremendous winning streak will slow down. Gibbs’ carefree, party life style definitely shows in the ring. Whether he’s dancing to the hits, thrusting his hips or stealing a kiss, he’s always fun to watch. Marcus has asked Ultimate Wrestling to find the best cruiserweights on the coast for him to lock up with. Marcus Gibbs WILL be in action in Pensacola on the 4th and in Milton on the 18th defending his belt! - Ultimate Wrestling is sorry to report that “The Shooter” Mike Jacobs injured his knee at the last Ultimate Wrestling event. He aggravated his knee in what people are calling Match of the Night and an early Match of the Year candidate, against Cameron Frost, the current X-Factor Champion. We wish Mike Jacobs a speedy recovery and hope he gets back to Ultimate Wrestling soon so he can perform for the great fans in Pensacola, FL! Cameron Frost will be defending his X-Factor Championship in Pensacola once UW Management is able to get a new contract to him. - TA Jones was announced as being the first of four great UW athletes in the X-Factor #1 Contender Four Way match taking place on April 4th at the American Legion Post 33. “Mr. USA” has been training very hard for this match as he feels it’s an opportunity to prove that he is a major player in UW and on the Gulf Coast Wrestling Independent scene. We promised more names, and we’re going to deliver. Just signed for this huge match is former multiple time PWA Tag Team Champion, former OSW Heavyweight Champion, former Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion, “The Bruiserweight” Maze! Maze has not been the most popular wrestler in Ultimate Wrestling as of late and he’s going to use those boos to motivate him to victory. Once he wins, he claims he’ll “rub the win in the face of the stupid UW fans. I promise to win this match, then take the belt from Cameron Frost or whoever is unlucky enough to be wearing it.” - Rumors are flying around that a very reputable, very dominant tag team will be in Pensacola on the 4th and they’d love to talk directly to Robert Gibson and Bobby Doll about a little tag team championship belt issue. The team in question apparently does not like the attitude that The Ultimate Legends have when they say that nobody can beat them, and they are the best tag team around and the bar has been set too high by Doll and Gibson. Stay tuned for News and Rumors for who this tag team might be! - Ultimate Wrestling has been in contact with some familiar faces regarding becoming full time members of the roster again. - Turbo Ted has invited Brian Caige to come to Milton, his “house” as he called it, on April 18th to teach him some respect “Old School Style”. Caige has not been contacted for a comment. - News and Rumors would like to send huge congratulations to “Pure” Doug Pitt for capturing the New Heights Wrestling Cruiserweight Championship. “Pure” Doug Pitt cut his teeth at the Ultimate Wrestling Training Academy and learned the ropes from UW’s great trainers.
