| Results from "NEW BLOOD" Jan 2008 The 1st match of the night was Justin Stone taking on former ULTIMATE WRESTLING Champion "Shooter" Jackson, whom was being accompanied to the ring by his manager,Colonel Tex Galento. Once the match commenced, both men were seeking crowd approval;a contest of sorts determining which of them were going to get the loudest pops. It seemed from the getgo that most of the majority of the crowd was solidly behind Shooter. This was a back and forth scientific donnybrook to determine who was the better man as each matched each other move for move, hold for hold, counter for counter and knifeedge chop to knifeedge chop. You could hear the loud, cruel, harsh sounds of hand to flesh eminate throughout the Amercian Legion building. One point in the match was Shooter Jackson jumping off of the top rope and come crashing down onto Justin Stone with a flying body splash.....while wearing his cowboy hat! Back and forth they went at it once again. Jackson, off a miss from a clothesline by Stone, clipped Stone's right knee with a forward shoulder block, which was soon followed by a single leg sweep trip up and an elbow drop to Stone's already injured right knee. Shooter Jackson climbed on the top rope once again and camme off of it delivering a diving headbutt to the mid-section to Justin Stone. The move totally knocked the wind out of Justin Stone's sails as Jackson covered Stone for the 1-2-3 victory. After the long, hard fought one-on-one encounter,Shooter Jackson was about to head back to the locker room, but he went back into the ring to check on the welfare and well-being of Justin Stone. Stone stood up as both men stared at each other in the center of the ring. Jackson extended his hand out to him in a sign of good sportmanship. Stone did the same as both men shook hands and embraced each other as a sign of mutual respect for one another. The 2nd match of the night featured a man making his ULTIMATE WRESTLING debut as "The Canadian Superstar" Aeon Flexx took on "The Airman" T.A. Jones. Canadian-born Aeon Flexx,a well versed, well adept mat and technical skilled wrestler who was a graduate of the Hart Brothers Training School Academy out of Calgary,Alberta Canada, made his ULTIMATE WRESTLING Debut on that night. On the microphone,he expressed his disdain and unpleasantries for the United States Of America, not to mention the ULTIMATE WRESTLING fans and the city of Pensacola,Florida. "The Airman" T.A. Jones,a proud American and even a more proud member of the United States Air Force, amde his way to the ring while carrying and waving the Starts and Stripes of "Old Glory",of that which whom the crowd was very solidly behind. From the start of the match, the very coinfident Aeon Flexx showed total showed brash arrogance and lack of respect towards his adversary. However,Flexx underestimated his opposition as "The Airman" rised to the occasion and battled his way back showing true grit, toughness and determination as all the fans in the audience encouraged him in motivation by chanting in unison and in repetition "U-S-A!" "U-S-A!" "U-S-A!". In the match,Flexx went back to the basics and took control of Jones with the many mat and technical wrestling skills that he learned being trained from the Hart family from several years ago. After hitting Flexx with a flying shoulder block,T.A. Jones covered Flexx for what was na apparent 1-2-3 victory. Many thought that "The Airman" won the bout, however referee Frog Lane said tht Aeon fLexx had his foot on the bottom ring rope before the 3 count, thus the match resumed and had to continue. However frustrated during that moment, that inadvertant pause in the action did not deter T.A. Jones in any way, shape or form whatsover. Aeon Flexx attempted to scoop body slam T.A. Jones, but the forward momentum of the body slam went in the favor of Jones as he caught Flexx in a Oklahoma hayride roll-up for a very surprising and shocking 1-2-3 victory. The 3rd match featured the dark, ominous and very bizarre Gothic Warrior, whom was being accompanied to the ring by his manager/valet "The Devilish Deity",Danika Devilyn (sans the naughtylicious Mystress for a second consecutive month) as he took on Gino Fabian Galento, whom was managed by his uncle,Colonel Tex Galento. Throughout most of the majority of the match,in all due and honest fairness,it seemed that the referee whom called this particular match Marcus Gibbs lost all sense of control as The Gothic Warrior's devious manager/valet Danika Devilyn was constantly distracting Gibbs numerous times as she got on the ring apron (WHICH IS REALLY NOT A BAD THING FOR SOME!LOL!!!) giving The Gothic Warrior numerous times to capitalize by taking advantage and control upon Gino Fabian Galento and on several occasions while referee Gibbs was trying to maintain law and order in the one-on-one encounter trying to separate The Gothic Warrior from his subsequent, absolute disregards of breaking the rules, once again "The Devilish Deity" took advantage of her opportunities as she choked Gino Galento's throat either on the ring ropes or by her own hands which that were laced up with black leather gloves. As both men went down catching each other with dueling running clotheslines, the notorious faction known as The Hellfire Club made their presence known as they stormed into the ring causing havoc, destruction and absolute annihilation upon the two combatants that were in the ring whom that were competing against each other. The referee had but no choice but to throw the match out and ruled the match between The Gothic Warrior and Gino Fabian Galento a no-contest. The 4th match of the night was for the ULTIMATE WRESTLING Southern Heavyweight as the champion Ricky "The Rocket" Roberts;making his 1st title defense after winning it by defeating "Mr. Electricity" Jerry Reiner at the November 3rd "Retribution" show, defended his belt against a man whom made his return to ULTIMATE WRESTLING,the challenger known as "The UN-Touchable" Jester McKain. Jester McKain looked quite fit and trim when he made his triumphant return. It appeared that he may have lost at least 25 pounds or so since his last appearance at ULTIMATE WRESTLING which was back on September 1st for "JUST BRING IT!". Before the match ensued both "The Rocket" and McKain were in each other's faces jawing and trash talking to each to other. Once the bell rang, the match commenced and both the champion and challenger matched each to other hold-for-hold,move-for-move and counter-for-counter. Jester McKain worked consistently and repeatedly on Ricky "Rocket" Roberts' leg by ramming his leg to the steel corner post outside the ring as well as inside the ring as he continued to damage it further by applying a figure-four leg lock, unto which "The Rocket" somehow barely mananged to escape from. "The Rocket";despite limping on his bad wheel during the duration of the match, persevered and battled his way back connecting with an inseguri kick to the side of the head of Jester McKain as well as a standing dropkick;both moves out of desperation on the part of "The Rocket". After administering a powerbomb to Ricky "Rocket" Roberts by "The UN-Touchable" Jester McKain,McKain attempted to pin Roberts for the 1-2-3 and to gain Roberts' coveted Southern Heavyweight Championship by using and holding onto the middle ring ropes for extra added leverage, but the referee caught him using the ropes before a 3 count was made. "The Rocket" then retaliated by rolling up McKain by putiing his feet on the middle ring rope for extra added leverage unbeknowst to the referee's peripheral view and illegally pinned McKain for the 1-2-3 victory to retain the Ultimate Wrestling Southern Heavyweight Championship. One of the most highly anticipated matches of the night was the match between former friends and tag team partners of the tag team New Era between the challenger and self-proclaimed Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion,"The Bruiser Weight" formerly known as "The Aerial Assassin" Maze as he took on the Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion of record,Cruze. After what both men have gone and have put each other through in matches for the Cruiserweight title through the past few months in a TLC match,in a falls count anywhere match and a no disqualification match, they were about to perhaps settle their feud once and for all in a lumberjack strap match. Mostly all of the wrestlers of ULTIMATE WRESTLING came down the aisle surrounding outside the ring with a leather belt in their hand. If either Maze or Cruze were to be thrown out of the ring or if they foolishly tried to escape outside the ring, the wrestlers were going to greet them with a leather strap up their backside! This donnybrook went back and forth as both men, being no strangers to each other through the years knowing each man's strengths and weaknesses took it to each other. It got physical and intense both inside the ring.....as well as outside the ring when both Maze and/or Cruze were taken to the proverbial woodshed. When it got so beguiled at times outside of the ring, even the lumberjacks went at each other! Near the end, inside the ring Cruze was about to finish Maze off and retain his Cruiserweight Title by finishing off his former friend/tag team partner with his finishing move called "The Cruze Crunch",but Maze escaped before the move was performed. From out of nowhere,Maze had a leather belt in his hand, grabbed Cruze's neck from behind and gave him a standing reverse neckbreaker. "The Bruiser Weight" Maze covered and hooked the leg of Cruze for the 1-2-3 to officially become the new Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion. The 6th match and the semi main event of the evening was between BlackSheep member "Mr. Electricity" Jerry Reiner,"The Canadian Superstar" Aeon Flexx (substituting for C-Note) and "The Future Legend" D.J. Pringle, whom was accompanied to the ring by his legendary father Percy Pringle III,a.k.a WWE legend Paul Bearer as they took on the notorious faction known as The Hellfire Club,"Brutal" Joe Gibson,"The Career Destroyer" CzR and their nefarious leader,Red "The Enforcer" Anderson. With the exception of Flexx, the tempers and the animosity for the 5 combatants in the ring as well as Percy Pringle III outside the ring have been flaring up for the past several months. You could cut the tension with a butterknife. A total combined weight of over 1,300 pounds of 6 man wrestling humanity were in the ring......and that even included the referee Marcus Gibbs! As anyone could have imagined, the match went at a back and forth, intense, fast pace between both teams that riled up the Ultimate Wrestling crowd in Pensacola,FL into an euphoric frenzy. Also,as anyone else could anticipate, the match was totally wild and crazy from the opening bell. Near the end of the match, both "Brutal" Joe Gibson and "The Future Legend" D.J. Pringle hit each other with running clotheslines knocking each other out. During this sequence and the simultaneous, wild 6 man tag melee that occured shortly afterwards, the referee was knocked out. Then the notorious Frog Lane ran to the ring and what he did next was unthinkable. He pulled Gibson's body and arm on top of D.J. Pringle and did a rapid 3 count for the Hellfire Club. A short while later,an incensed and an infuriated D.J. Pringle chased Frog Lane all over the American Legion Hall building. Lane sought safety and comfort by being behind the Hellfire Club. In a shocking turn of events,he was handed a Hellfire Club T-shirt and became the 4th and newest member of the sinister and insidious wrestling faction which the crowd reacted to a raucous round of boos. D.J. was livid and so was his father PP3 who calld out the CEO of Ultimate Wrestling,Alexander Hearse III. The Pringles wanted this underhanded miscarraige of justice to be rectified and Percy Pringle III suggested;let me rephrase that, demanded for a match to take place at the February 2nd ULTIMATE WRESTLING "Love Or Hate" show between D.J. Pringle versus new Hellfire Club member Frog Lane with....GET THIS....Alexander Hearse III as the special referee. Mr. Hearse agreed and this match on February 2nd will take place!!! The main event was for the ULTIMATE WRESTLING Heavyweight Championship as the ULTIMATE WRESTLING Heavyweight Champion OMEGA;whom was being accompanied to the ring by his beautiful manager/valet "THE 7th Deadly Sin","The Venomous Voluptuous Vixen Goddess",THE newly crowned ULTIMATE DIVA and The 2007 December INDY DIVA Of The Month,Vain, opposed the challenging opposition of "The Golden One" Aaron Idol. In previous match-ups at ULTIMATE WRESTLING's "The Brawl In The Hall" show back in May of 2007 and the "Out Of Control show back in June of 2007,Idol has two victories over OMEGA when OMEGA was known as "Mr.Omega" Sirus LaVey. With that being said, some fans thought Idol would be the new champ, not to mention Idol included. Even after winning and becoming the new ULTIMATE WRESTLING Heavyweight Champion a month ago,OMEGA still had something to prove to himself and to his many legion of fans to not be defeated by "The Golden One" Aaron Idol for an unprecedented 3rd consecutive time. OMEGA's transformation from his alter ego that was once Sirus LaVey since the Ultimate Wrestling "Heads Will Roll" show back in October has been nothing short of startling, spectacular and extraordinary. While always being a huge fan favorite of the crowd,OMEGA is wrestling in a more crazier, more meaner, more wreckless abandon type of wrestling style than ever before. While sporting face paint reminiscent of The Great Kabuki;or The Great Muta depending on your wrestling preference,he is also known to spray a debilitating mist of varying colors and effects from his throat that has left ULTIMATE WRESTLING crowds in shock, awe and amazement and on occasion delivers devastating results to his opponents with his mysterious mist if they even think about trying to swerve him. OMEGA has the uncanny capability to mix viciousness and old style wrestling into newer moves with tremendous fluidity. Omega always seemed to have the edge of the match and the emotions of the crowd in the palm of his hand and it truly indeed showed in unspeakable, infathomable volumes prior to the starting bell. As the match began, both men displayed great sportsmanship;a rarity even in this day and age of professional wrestling as both men went back and forth and toe-to-toe. Aaron Idol worked on the leg of OMEGA which eventually led to him applying a figure-four leg lock. He seemed to have victory in his sights until OMEGA reversed his submission maneuver. Both men continued back and forth like two dogs that were fighting for the last bone in the yard. Towards the end of the match both men kicked out of each other's finishers to the amazement of the crowd. Even Aaron Idol kicked out of one of OMEGA's finishing move called "The Switch",a standing spinning reverse DDT. In rthe end of the match,Idol attemted to kick OMEGA in his mid-section,however OMEGA blocked his kick. Then,OMEGA was able to hook Idol into his new finisher,a standing reverse spinning vicious knee-buster type of suplex called "The Oshimai (a Japanese term which roughly means 'The End')" which eventually turned out to be all she wrote to "The Golden One" Aaron Idol as OMEGA covered him and hooked his leg for the 1-2-3 victory to retain the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Overall,it was a very exciting long hard fought match and Aaron Idol gave OMEGA all that he could handle, but in the end it was OMEGA whom had just a little more somthing extra as he emerged victorious. Showing the sign of a true fighting champion,OMEGA raised the arm of his challenger Aaron Idol and gave him both a handshake and an embrace in mutual respect as the January 5th,2008 ULTIMATE WRESTLING "New Blood" show came to an exuberant, action packed, fantastic conclusion. |
