Fans were treated to a night that saw EVERY title in Ultimate up for grabs, as well as a stacked card of wrestling action. Anyone who missed this event will be kicking themselves for months over what a phenomenal show they missed out on. --------------------------------------- RESULTS --------------------------------------- ‘Story of the Year’ Brian Caige vs. ‘Party Gras’ Justin Stone vs. The Amish Assassin For the past year, Brian Caige has been persistent about reminding everyone about how he has never been pinned or submitted in his career. On this night, he once again vowed that 2010 would be the year he wins gold, because he has beaten four current or former champions in Ultimate Wrestling. As much as everyone hates to hear him speak, Caige has so far been speaking the truth. On this night, he would get a chance at another former champion: former Cruiserweight/Sexy Man Champion Justin Stone. Caige and Stone would face off in a triple threat match with the man that the ‘Story of the Year’ stole a win from in Pensacola two weeks earlier, the Amish Assassin. In the match it seemed that although both ‘Party Gras’ and the Amishman were out to win against the other, they had no problems teaming against the brash and ####y Caige. After each man had had a chance to beat up the others, eventually it was the Assassin who would gain the upper hand, laying out his opponents with forceful hacks to the head and following up with thunderous head butts. But Stone and Caige would team up to neutralize the Amishman, sending him hard into the corner. But the effects of the blows were not enough to keep the Amish One down, as he bounced out of the corner and hit Stone, who had been thrown his direction by Caige, then swiftly laid out Caige yet again. He then wasted no time in locking on a crippling Boston Crab, and Caige’s screams could be heard throughout the Auditorium. But just as it seemed Caige would finally submit, he found his way over to a still unconscious Stone, and laid his hand across Stone’s chest. The referee counted the pin, and somehow, Brian Caige once again stole a win from the Amish Assassin. As Caige gloated and got in the faces of his defeated opponents, the Amishman hit Caige with a headbutt, which sent him directly over to Stone, who hit his ‘Party Valley Driver.’ As Caige slithered to the back, Stone and the Amish One stood triumphant in the ring, congratulating each other on a fantastic match. Brian Caige defeated Justin Stone and Amish Assassin in a triple threat match by pinning Stone --------------------------------------- ‘The Bruiserweight’ Maze (C) vs. Jet Angel for the Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Championship Maze is the longest reigning Cruiserweight Champion in Ultimate Wrestling history. In the past, that would not have been much to talk about, but with the recent revamping of the Cruiserweight division, it is an accomplishment that anyone could be proud of. On this night, ‘The Bruiserweight’ would defend the title once again against Jet Angel, who defeated former champion Marcus Gibbs to become Number One Contender. Prior to the match, Suicidal Soulja came out and said that he was going to be watching this match with great interest, as he has just been signed to an Ultimate Wrestling contract for the Cruiserweight division. In the match, both Maze and Jet put on an amazing display of wrestling knowledge and pure athleticism. As it seemed that Maze would seal the deal and continue his reign, suddenly Angel was able to hit his ‘Keelhall Crush’ on the Champion, and the crowd exploded in elation as the referee’s hand hit for the three-count. Jet kneeled to the mat in pure joy as he was handed the Cruiserweight Championship Belt, and was soon joined by Suicidal Soulja to congratulate the new champion. As Jet was leaving the ring, Maze attacked Soulja, but was soon sent running after his attempt to take out his frustrations ended up backfiring in the form of a huge Hurricanranna. Ultimate Wrestling would like to congratulate the new Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion, the High Flying Jet Angel. As of this time, no word has been said on when Maze will invoke his automatic rematch clause. Jet Angel pinned Maze (C) to become new Cruiserweight Champion --------------------------------------- ‘Black Sheep’ Bobby Doll (w/ Uncle Jim) vs. ‘The Feature’ Carlos D’Angelo Carlos D’Angelo was a fighting champion. Emphasis on the word was. Two weeks ago, D’Angelo lost his coveted X-Factor Championship to Aeon Flexx, and much to everyone’s surprise, Carlos decided to wait to get his automatic rematch. On this night, the most beloved wrestler in Ultimate Wrestling would face off with arguably the most hated: ‘Black Sheep’ Bobby Doll. Doll said to Carlos before the match that he didn’t deserve to have won that match with Flexx. Bobby said that just like Johnny Rebel should be carrying his bags, Carlos should be carrying Flexx’s. At that point, Carlos grabbed the microphone from Bobby’s hand and said “are you hear to talk because I came to wrestle.” It was apparent that Carlos was in this match for just that, as the two technical experts put on a wrestling clinic all over the ring. It wasn’t long until both men were exhausted, when a sudden burst of explosiveness by Doll allowed him to hit ‘Total Blackout’ on Carlos. But as soon as Bobby hit his devastating move, Johnny Rebel came running down to the ring and grabbed Bobby’s elegant robe that he wears to the ring. As Rebel retreated to the back, wearing Bobby’s presumed $12000 robe he exclaimed “thanks for the new bathmat!” A furious Bobby had all his attention focused on the thievery of Rebel, and as he turned back to finish his match, Carlos was right there, hitting Doll with the Running Knee and the STO for the pin. While this victory certainly has given Carlos D’Angelo the needed momentum to jump back to the top of the X-Factor contention, but the interference by Rebel has certainly opened the door to bigger and nastier things between the man from Milton and the Ultimate Legend. Carlos D’Angelo pinned Bobby Doll --------------------------------------- ‘Canadian Superstar’ Aeon Flexx vs. ‘The Evolution’ Robyn Golphin for the Ultimate Wrestling X- Factor Championship Aeon Flexx came into Milton just two weeks removed from capturing his first singles title in Ultimate Wrestling, the only promotion he has ever wrestled for and yet to win gold. Flexx said that even though he was just crowned the champion, it’s already guaranteed that he’ll go down as the greatest X-Factor Champion in history. Flexx’s announcement that he was turning against his former protégé just two weeks earlier sent shockwaves through the entire locker room. Since Carlos D’Angelo, the man who was formerly the longest reigning X-Factor champion in history, was not taking his automatic rematch on this night, Flexx granted a title shot to Robyn Golphin, who was coming off an extremely impressive performance in a valiant effort against Joe Gibson in Pensacola. Golphin brought everything he had to the match, but in the end Flexx was able to hit the elevator DDT, and then lock on the Sharpshooter, forcing Golphin to submit. With still no word on when Carlos will challenge to regain his X-Factor title, it looks like Flexx, along with his vicious duo of moves, will have smooth sailing as X-Factor Champion for the foreseeable future. Aeon Flexx (C) pinned Robyn Golphin to retain X-Factor Championship --------------------------------------- Mr. Marcus Gibbs vs. Johnny Rebel During the intermission, Johnny Rebel was out amongst the fans showing off his “fancy new bathrobe.” Rumor has it that he even tried to auction the robe off to the highest bidder, but settled for a tin of dip. With all the fun and games aside, Rebel came out to the ring wearing Bobby Doll’s robe for the last time, as it was pretty much a done deal to sell it for said can of tobacco. Rebel’s opponent on this night was an irate Mr. Gibbs, who had two weeks to build up more and more rage after losing at the hands of Jet Angel in Pensacola. Marcus unleashed this rage on Rebel, and the two talented superstars showcased superior skill in the match. Just as it seemed Rebel had gained the momentum and was about to seal the deal by hitting a top-rope dive, Uncle Jim ran out and jumped up on the opposite apron, turning the official away from Rebel. Just seconds later, Bobby Doll emerged, knocking Rebel off the top rope. Doll then hit Rebel with a piledriver, and left the ring, grabbing his robe and taking it with him. Without missing a beat, Uncle Jim followed his nephew out of the arena, and Mr. Gibbs rolled over onto Rebel and locked on the ‘Sandman Clutch’ forcing Rebel to tap out. With all that has transpired between Bobby Doll and Johnny Rebel, one has to wonder how this will all come to an end… Mr. Marcus Gibbs defeated Johnny Rebel via submission --------------------------------------- The INVASION (C) vs. The First Sons of Ultimate for the Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team Championship For the first time since December, T.A. Jones & ‘Pure’ Doug Pitt had a match versus Reiner & Cruze for the Tag Team Championship. The young dynamic team that Ultimate Wrestling calls their ‘First Sons’ have faced many challenges head on just to get another shot at reclaiming the Tag Team gold, and they looked at this night as being THE night that it all came to fruition. Despite their best efforts, The INVASION had no tricks left to delay this match, and came in with their usual arrogant sense of humor. But it was apparent from the beginning of the match that Jones & Pitt would not fall for the same tricks that cost them the titles in the first place. Coming off of consecutive victories against White Trash, T.A. and Doug looked like the championship material that got them the titles in the first place. Finally, INVASION had had enough of the youngsters, and Cruze brought a ladder into the ring. Blatantly getting themselves disqualified, INVASION proceeded to bash both of their opponents repeatedly with the ladder, and then Reiner set up Doug for Chicken ‘n’ Biscuits, as Cruze came crashing down from the top of a ten-foot ladder. After retreating from the ring with their titles in hand, a battered T.A. Jones grabbed the microphone and told INVASION that since they liked to “play with ladders, how about a ladder match?” The fans erupted with this challenge, but at the time of this release, no word has come on if and when this proposed ladder match for the Tag Team Titles will take place. How will this all come to pass? Fans will not want to miss a single moment as the Road to Milestone continues in the coming weeks! T.A. Jones and Doug Pitt defeat The INVASION (C) via disqualification, INVASION retains Tag Team Championship --------------------------------------- ‘Brutal’ Joe Gibson vs. ‘BTY’ Colby Godwin Joe Gibson has had his few share of words directed at one Colby Godwin over the past few weeks. Time and time again Joe has berated not only ‘BTY’ himself, but the fans and family that have supported Colby. Joe even went so far as to degrade Sika the Wild Samoan, who trained Colby. So when it was announced that BTY and Joe would finally face one another in Milton, needless to say everyone was on pins and needles to see this match. But prior to the match, Joe had a few more words concerning Colby. Joe pointed out that due to his neck being injured in the Battle of the Gulf Coast Tournament at New Heights Wrestling just one week ago, Colby Godwin would not be able to compete, and that the match would not happen. But BTY came out, dressed in street clothes, to finally have a few words of his own for Joe Gibson. Just as Joe had heard enough, and told Colby that he wasn’t even dressed to compete, Colby attacked Joe, and ripped off his shirt and track pants to reveal his wrestling attire underneath. The two men brawled in and out of the ring for what seemed like an eternity, but suddenly Joe hit Colby with a move that sent a stunning silence through the Auditorium. Although Joe had constantly attacked the head and neck of Colby, he kept fighting back, until Joe hit an overhead Sambo suplex, which caused BTY to bounce directly off his neck. As silence came over the crowd, the only sound that could be heard were Colby’s screams of agony. As officials and security scrambled to Colby’s side to check on him, a hush fell over every person in the building, friend and foe alike, as it seemed tragedy had befallen one of the hottest up and comers in the industry. Finally, Senior Official Frog Lane got back in the ring, and proceeded to apply the ten-count to end the match. But it wasn’t enough for Joe to win the match. He wanted to obliterate Colby Godwin. Joe exited the ring, and threw the crippled BTY back in for more punishment. After several blows to the neck, Joe then grabbed a steel chair and, as everyone in the building looked on in pure horror, proceeded to guillotine Colby with the chair. As Joe left the arena, it seemed that he had finally gotten his true wish in life: he had seemingly ended the career of Colby Godwin. Joe Gibson defeated Colby Godwin via count-out --------------------------------------- Royal Four Winner Deathrow vs. ‘Master of Devastation’ Cameron Frost (C) for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship This was the night that everyone has been anticipating since ‘End of Days.’ This night was the night that Deathrow would cash in his opportunity for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship against Cameron Frost. Frost fought through three extremely combative challenges for his title, but this was going to be his toughest test to date. Deathrow had been on a warpath ever since ‘Ecstasy of Gold’ and this could be the night that everything paid off. As the match wore on and on, it seemed that neither man was willing to give an inch to the other. Suddenly, Frost was able to take the monster down to his knees, and with every ounce of strength he could muster laid the big man out on his back. The Champ wasted no time, going up to the top rope to hit a moonsault, the same move that sealed the deal for Frost so many times in the past. But it was not to be, as Deathrow rolled out of harm’s way, and Cameron came crashing to the mat. With the force of impact, it was apparent that Frost had nothing left, but that fact did not stop ‘The Man’ from booting Frost directly in the face, covering him, and solidifying the worst fears of all of Ultimate Wrestling. Deathrow is the man, just as he always says. And now, Deathrow is the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Although Frost is due an automatic rematch as the former champion, one has to wonder if there is anything more that Frost could do to possibly win the title back. The most important thing one should ponder, is that although Cameron Frost is one of the most noble and fair individuals in the wrestling world today, is it possible that Frost may try to take advantage of an opportunity that presents itself to reclaim his title? Will he do what is necessary or what is right? Only time will tell, but for now, the man that rules over all of Ultimate is the single most unstoppable force in the company.
