Woodson Ultimate Wrestling returned to Pensacola, Florida and the American Legion Post #33 on November 7 with ‘Indestructible.’ The fans were eager to see their favorite Ultimate Superstars in action, as well as TWO #1 contender matches for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship, as all roads are leading to the ‘End of Days’ on December 19, and the huge spectacle that is the Final Four Battle Royal. ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- RESULTS ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- “The Bruiserweight” Maze pinned The Black Wolf to retain Ultimate Cruiserweight Championship The Ultimate Wrestling Training Academy has produced several of the up-and-coming superstars in Ultimate Wrestling today, including the current Tag Team Champions of Doug Pitt and T.A. Jones. The trainers and management have been extremely pleased with the fact that they have not only the premier promotion from Louisiana to Central Florida, but that they also have churned out the superstars of tomorrow in the Academy. That is why it has been such a huge disappointment for everyone involved with training The Black Wolf. Unlike his counterparts at the Academy who have seen in-ring competition, Black Wolf has never scored a victory of any kind. Even the Amish Assassin, who has been on the shelf due to a knee injury, has one win under his belt. That’s why Ultimate Management has given an ultimatum to the Wolf: he must win a match by the end of the year or lose not only his spot on the roster, but also his place in the Academy. His first chance for redemption came against the Cruiserweight Champion Maze, a man who has held his title since mid-March. Maze came into the match full of confidence as usual, but turned out to be underestimating a very motivated rookie. Wolf unleashed almost everything in his arsenal to take out “The Bruiserweight,” but in the end the tenacious veteran picked up the win with his signature “Bruise Your Face.” ------------------------------------------------------------- MR. Marcus Gibbs def. Jet Angel via submission When Jet Angel squared off against MR. Marcus Gibbs at ‘Indestructible’ in Pensacola, it was a match that could have major contendership implications in the newly revamped Cruiserweight division. Jet’s high flying has catapulted him to the top of the Cruiserweights, coming just shy of attaining gold, whereas MR. Gibbs is a former Cruiserweight Champion in his own right. Although Marcus does not use the traditional style of a cruiserweight, he has become one of the top wrestlers on the entire roster. He and his new attitude change, along with his newest weapon, the “Sandman Clutch,” have been tearing a path throughout Ultimate Wrestling. Nothing would change on this night, as MR. Gibbs was able to ground the high flying Jet long enough to lock on the Sandman Clutch, causing Angel to submit. ------------------------------------------------------------- Johnny Rebel pinned Justin Stone, def. Turbo Ted, “BTY” Colby Godwin in 4-man scramble match Ultimate Wrestling has made the scramble match a staple in its’ shows, usually giving superstars that are in need of a proving ground that opportunity. This showcase of newcomers and roster veterans seemed to be going the way of Justin Stone, as the Ultimate Party was set to hit Johnny Rebel with the “Party Valley Driver.” Just before hitting the move, however, MR. Marcus Gibbs made his way to the ring, causing Stone to drop Rebel. The distraction gave Rebel enough of an opportunity to roll up “Party Gras” for the pinfall, giving Johnny his very first victory in Ultimate Wrestling. Afterwards, Marcus grabbed the microphone and proceeded to berate the man that used to mentor him as a rookie. He told Stone that he was pathetic, and that everyone in the crowd was laughing at him, and nobody wanted to be in on the “Ultimate Party.” Gibbs then attacked Stone in the ring, bloodying him severely. But that wasn’t enough for MR. Gibbs. Marcus had also brought two bottles of alcohol with him, which he proceeded to dump all over the open wound of Stone. As the carnage subsided, and security and medical assistants rushed Stone to the back to be examined, Stone’s screams of agony could be heard throughout the arena. ------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Caige is one arrogant person. He truly feels he is the “poster child” of Ultimate Wrestling, and more importantly, the single most successful product of the Ultimate Training Academy. Caige came out to the ring before his match and, as usual, reminded everyone about “the streak.” He also decided to comment on the ultimatum given to The Black Wolf by management. As everyone now knows, Wolf has until ‘End of Days’ to win a match or he loses everything he has worked for in his wrestling career. Caige said that it was a shame that such a phenomenal superstar such as himself could come from the same school as someone as “pathetic as the Black Fox.” He also said that he would take on the task to ensure that Wolf is indeed fired at years end, and that he wants to be the one to face Wolf on that pivotal night in Milton on December 19. Caige said that on that night, not only would he “end the career that never started,” but that at that point the “Story of the Year” would become the “Story of the Decade.” Before Caige could finish his statement, however, the music of his opponent for the evening hit. This music was that of Deathrow. Brian stumbled and fumbled on the mic, trying desperately to avoid a confrontation with ‘Row. Caige even claimed he had sustained an injury (an ingrown toenail) and could not compete. Row was dead set on destroying Caige, but the “Story of the Year” had an ace up his sleeve. Caige said that he had seen some students from the academy in the back and he was sure they would be more than happy to have their first match on this night. Caige went to the back and returned with a superstar that has not been seen in an Ultimate ring since late last year: Lenny Scootermeyer. Scootermeyer tried franticly to avoid getting in the ring, until Caige jumped him and tossed him into the ring. Deathrow made quick work of Lenny, dispatching him with a brainbuster. As ‘Row turned his focus again to the “Story of the Year,” Caige said that he knew there was at least one more student in the back for him to toy with. Through the curtain came one of the students, known only as “The Kid,” who climbed to the top and leaped at ‘Row as the monster turned around. But Deathrow caught the kid with a vicious clothesline. As Deathrow went for more of the kid that lay in the ring, Caige slid in with a chair and hit ‘Row in the back. This had no effect on the mastodon, which then turned and attacked the man he came for in the first place. Deathrow was not here for a match, he was here for murder. This was evident when he grabbed Caige and choke slammed him from inside the ring to the outside and through the timekeepers table. Although Caige still has his streak, he is fortunate to have left with his life after his most recent confrontation with the monster that is Deathrow. ------------------------------------------------------------- “Pure” Doug Pitt & T.A. Jones pinned Ultimate Wrestling Champion Nick Virtue & Ultimate X- Factor Champion Carlos D’Angelo to retain Ultimate Tag Team Championship Earlier in the evening on “The Feature Presentation,” Carlos D’Angelo commented on his match against Nick Virtue for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship at ‘Heads Will Roll II.’ He said that there were champions that would do whatever it took within the constraints of the rules to hold on to their title, and then there were champions like Nick Virtue that simply did whatever it took to keep his title. The bottom line, in Carlos’ mind, is results. Although “The Feature” had fallen short of becoming the first ever double-champion in Ultimate Wrestling history, he had been given another opportunity at ‘Indestructible,’ albeit not for the title he wanted. Carlos explained that he had been given a shot at the Tag Team Championship, and management was allowing him to pick any partner he wanted. So in a very controversial move, D’Angelo picked Virtue as his partner. As the crowd started to react to this announcement, Carlos explained that he knew he had chemistry with “The Former Sinner,” as the two had formerly been tag team partners several years ago. He also knew that Nick loved having gold just as much as Carlos did, and he expected the best from the champ as they looked to simultaneously become duel-champions. In the match, the experience of Carlos and Virtue showed as they were able to put immense pressure on Doug Pitt to not fall victim to a pinfall. The Tag Titles seemed lost when Carlos hit Pitt with the STO, but T.A. Jones came to the aid of his partner and friend, got the blind tag-in, and hit Carlos with the “BBL Slam.” But just as soon as Jones came in, he was dispatched by Virtue with a Burning Hammer. All the commotion gave Doug enough time to recover, and went for “Pure Perfection” on the champion, but was too weakened to pull off the move. As Virtue rolled off of Doug’s shoulder, he countered with his trademark flipping spear. Virtue focused on Jones, who was the legal man, and whipped him into the corner turnbuckle. But “Mr. USA” had just enough explosion left to post off the corner and leap over the charging Virtue, tagging in Pitt, who unleashed everything into his “Super Power Ranger Kick.” Jones used his last bit of strength to incapacitate D’Angelo, allowing Doug to get the biggest pinfall in both his career, and the entire existence of the Tag Team Championship. With a pinfall victory over the two top singles champions in the company, Doug Pitt and T.A. Jones have elevated the prestige of the Ultimate Tag Team Championship to unbelievable heights. The sky is the limit for these two, as they await their next title defense in Milton on November 21. ------------------------------------------------------------- Aeon Flexx pinned “Black Sheep” Bobby Doll to become #1 Contender for Ultimate Wrestling Championship at ‘End of Days.’ Bobby Doll is the “Ultimate Legend,” and he takes that title as serious as any man could. He single-handedly prevented “BTY” Colby Godwin from becoming #1 Contender for the X- Factor Championship, and felt that his victory should have guaranteed him the #1 Contender spot for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship. Instead, General Manager Diana Drake-Hearse decided to put him in a match for that title against a man who has been a thorn in his side for several months: Aeon Flexx. Flexx, a former #1 Contender who has fallen from title contention after his loss to Brian Caige in Milton, had heard enough of Bobby’s whining and complaining, and was looking to once again become #1 Contender for the biggest show of the year. With Uncle Jim at ringside, Bobby certainly had the advantage of distraction. And the duo used this advantage, as at the end of the match, Uncle Jim got on the apron to distract Senior Official Frog Lane, allowing Bobby to take advantage and choke Flexx in a Camel Clutch. But suddenly, Colby Godwin came sprinting from the back, looking to even the score, and hit Bobby with an “Ace Crusher” and pulled Flexx on top of Bobby, all without the referee seeing. As Frog turned and saw Flexx covering Bobby, he did his job and counted the pinfall, giving the match and number one contendership to Aeon Flexx. ------------------------------------------------------------- “Brutal” Joe Gibson and “Master of Devastation” Cameron Frost resulted in draw via time- out The second #1 Contender’s match at ‘Indestructible’ would be contested not against enemies, but against former friends. “Brutal” Joe Gibson said he was tired of having his “friend” not have his back, after he and Cameron Frost failed to capture the Tag Team Championship for the second time in consecutive months. Frost has never been one to back down, and the two met to see who truly was “indestructible,” and with the chance to become #1 contender on November 21 at ‘Harvest of Sorrows.’ The two men fought from post to pillar, all over the ring, but neither was able to get the other down long enough for either a pin or submission. As time expired, both men collapsed on the canvas in pure exhaustion, until Aeon Flexx’s music hit. Flexx came out, and said that since neither man had one, that he was the sole contender for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship. Flexx also said that he didn’t want to wait for ‘End of Days,’ but that he wanted his title match at ‘Harvest of Sorrows.’ Joe promptly grabbed the mic out of Aeon’s hand and declared that he hadn’t lost the match. Frost did the same, and the three men stood nose to nose with each other. And then Nick Virtue chimed in. Virtue came to the ring and said that he had beaten each and every one of the three men that looked to challenge him. He felt that none of them deserved a title opportunity. But GM Diana Drake-Hearse felt differently. She said that they all deserved title shot, and that at ‘End of Days’ there would be a mini- tournament to decide the Ultimate Wrestling Champion. This ensures that at the end of the year extravaganza, there will be two Ultimate Wrestling Championship matches, as well as the huge Final Four Battle Royal to determine the next contender for the Championship. ------------------------------------------------------------- Ultimate Wrestling presents ‘Harvest of Sorrows’ LIVE November 21 at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton, Florida at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bring a donation for the Manna Food Bank of NW Florida to help out those that have little for this Thanksgiving.
